Commissioned for the large Starbucks at Miami Worldcenter, Inside Your Cup places the viewer within the environment where coffee is grown, revealing the many elements that make its existence possible.
At the center of the landscape, a pair of hands emerges from within the terrain itself, symbolizing the living cooperation among people, plants, and the wider natural world that ultimately brings coffee into the cup.
The mural honors the complexity behind a daily ritual, inviting viewers to consider the many relationships that make something so familiar possible.
