Created for Black Tulip Design, a boutique flower shop in Odessa, Texas, this mural features a floral arrangement inspired by the still-life paintings of Maria van Oosterwijck.
The composition uses a chiaroscuro approach, allowing light and shadow to shape the flowers while harmonizing with the surrounding color palette of the desert city.
A small portion of the mural was painted by local residents during a Community Painting Day, bringing a touch of community participation to the piece.
