Message in a Bottle
mural with community component
________________________
Commissioned for Loveland’s state-of-the-art Recycling Center, this mural highlights the importance of recycling through a combination of iconography, typography, and wildlife imagery.
The composition features animals from three different ecosystems, illustrating how human choices ripple outward and affect environments far beyond our immediate surroundings.
A section of the mural was painted by more than 200 community members during a two-day public painting event, reinforcing the collective responsibility reflected in the work itself.
• 80' x 6'
• 4,500+ triangles
• over 200 people participated in the community painting portion
We are all still “in a glow” about Message in a Bottle, the Community Paint event and having spent time with Samantha, Sagan, you and Frank (intern). You all are amazing people and you have left an indelible mark on the community. My heartfelt gratitude to you all. This project exceeded my highest expectations. Thank you, not only for an amazing project but, for such a meaningful connection.
